Our Definition of Spam
Spam is defined as any unsolicited, unexpected, or unwelcome text message. We do not permit the use of third-party lists, whether authorization has been obtained or not. We consider Spam to be any sort of communication delivered to a subscriber regarding an irrelevant subject that the subscriber did not request.
Our Policy
Only confirmed opt-in subscriptions are permitted in the SmsSmarts text messaging system. It assures that all customers may opt out of harmful SMS communications quickly, effortlessly, and permanently. This may be done via our website or by sending a text message to +447537175370 with the word 'STOP' from your phone.
SmsSmarts - Anti-Spam policy:
All of SmsSmarts's communication methods adhere to an ANTI-SPAM policy. This implies that we do not allow UNSOLICITED TEXT MESSAGES, NOTIFICATIONS, ALERTS, OR ANY MESSAGES FROM SOMEONE WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE YOUR MOBILE NUMBER. Please notify us of any abuse, including the sender ID, your mobile number (to be deleted), the date and time you got it, and the message's contents. Please email us with your comments/complaints to report any abuse or violations of inappropriate usage of our service. Your complaint will be recorded, and the Client will be investigated for violating our Anti-Spam Policy. The identity of anybody who reports abuse will be kept private.
SMS Text Messaging API
Our Clients expressly agree in our terms and conditions agreement NOT to use SmsSmarts to send unsolicited text messages or spam. Clients agree to an Opt-In only policy when adding a list to their list. All Text Messages sent using SmsSmarts can be traced and, as a result, deleted from the sender list. We support OPT-OUT / Deactivate / UNSUBSCRIBE, and clients can remove mobile numbers. If we detect a violation of our Anti-Spam policy, we will contact the Client and discuss the Client's actions, which may range from a warning to the Client's service being terminated. To the best of our knowledge, our technology complies with ALL state and federal regulations governing the transmission of unsolicited bulk / group text messages.
SPAM and ABUSE REPORT: OPT-OUT / REMOVE / UNSUBSCRIBE
If you desire to be removed from any list, simply send us an email (at [email protected]) with the words "OPT-OUT", "UNSUBSCRIBE", "STOP", or "REMOVE" in the subject line. You can also respond to the received SMS message by typing STOP. Finally, you may send a text message to the number +447537175370 with the word "STOP" in it.
Please notify us of any abuse, including your mobile number, the date and time you received the message, and the message's contents. You will be removed from that list, and the client will no longer be able to add your cellphone number to their list in the future.
